Technique:  Front salto from under grip swing (front giant) to tuck, pike or straddle layout and recatch the bar (Head Neutral – eyes straight down) Drive shoulders/armpits down with hamstrings/legs up!

Prerequisites

  • Strong front giants, (bent front giants will work but the ability to do the straight body or whip swing front giant will be a stronger Jeager with the heel lift.)

  • Teach gymnasts to fall first (over rotating to stomach) – Take away the fear of falling.
